We help companies maximize their technology investments.
How?
Process before technology
Technology is only as good as the business processes it supports. We partner with you to ensure processes are clear, documented and producing the intended outcomes. We focus on the whole picture. Optimizing processes in one area only to de-optimize another isn’t helpful. We take a system wide view, optimizing all processes, not just a subset.
Spend less
Organizations often do not fully utilize the technology they are already paying for. We helped a client use their existing Office 365 subscription to more clearly communicate with internal stakeholders, reducing the amount of time spent communicating requirements and downstream errors resulting from process variations. They were able to improve outcomes and increase employee satisfaction with no additional technology purchases.
Step back
a solution is often hiding in plain sight. After our discovery session with a healthcare client, we identified that a procedure area step required for the medical record could be used to decrement inventory in the ERP. After working with the staff in the procedure area, we identified an opportunity to make minor changes to existing processes in order to better use two pieces of existing technology. We partnered with the procedure area staff and health system technical experts to design, test and implement the change.
Change when needed
Sometimes, significant change is needed. As part of an organization wide ERP change, we helped a division of a large health system prepare for and move to the new ERP. While these transitions are often painful, we focused on process optimization as the initial step. Building upon these optimizations, we were able to work with stakeholders to design, test and implement the new ERP.
The process
Step 1: Initial call
This 30 minute call provides the opportunity for us to meet one another and discuss what a discovery session would entail.
Step 2: Discovery session
Depending on the business type and location, the discovery session can be onsite or virtual and will last for up to one day. We seek to understand desired outcomes, the current processes and existing technologies utilized.
Step 3: Proposal
We assess the results of the discovery session and then present the approach we would take to maximizing your technology investments.
